Umami is a fictional food magazine that has been created to demonstrate how you might build a Drupal site using functionality provided 'out of the box'.
For more information visit https://www.drupal.org/docs/umami-drupal-demonstration-installation-profile.
This magazine is one Drupal site and one Nuxt app. Drupal's Umami profile supplies the recipes, articles, menus, blocks and views. DruxtJS reads them over JSON:API and renders every page with Vue components.
Druxt is a set of Nuxt modules, one per Drupal subsystem: router, entity, blocks, menu, views, breadcrumb. Each renders Drupal's configuration as it is, so an editor moving a block or changing a display mode changes this site with no deploy. Override a component only where the design needs it.
Everything here is open source. The Drupal module, the Nuxt packages and this site's code are public; the docs and Discord are where to start.
Blocks, menus, views, breadcrumbs, entity forms and search all come straight from Drupal's JSON:API. You override a component only when you want to.
